Vol. 003.

Have you ever wondered "What would this Harry Potter
character read if they lived nowadays? It is an interesting
question which I will try and answer in this blog! Each
blog will focus on one character from Harry Potter, and I will
give 3-5 different books that I could imagine them reading if they
lived today. Hopefully, this will also be able to give you some interesting recommendations for new and old books you need to check out!

Ron is another interesting character, who definitely has large character development. Through his many appearances in the book, he shows not only bravery but also loyalty to his friends. Even though I do not believe that Ron is a person who would be reading many books in his free time, he might enjoy some of my suggestions underneath.

This comic is written by Neil Gaiman. This comic is a new beautifully illustrated book, which tells countless tales of The Sandman's origin story. Telling the tales of the creation of a galaxy, the capturing of Morpheus and much more than that. The illustrations simply help draw the reader further into the magical and fantastical dream world that Gaiman has created, and you experience much more than you otherwise would have experienced. The Sandman: Overture is the first in the series of The Sandman, which is followed with up to 9 other comic books and a large number of different comics and illustrated short stories. It first came out in 2015, but the art and stories will truly not be outdated.

This comic was written by Alan Moore and is one of the many tales surrounding Batman and the Joker. In this comic, we finally get to learn about the Joker's origin story and learn more about him and how he has become to be who he is today. Of course, it would be no batman comic without the one and only Batman. After Joker kidnaps the Commissioner, Batman comes to help in saving the man from the Joker's grasp. Batman: The Killing Joke is no new story, and was first published in 1995, but is still as popular as ever before. It is largely suggested to check out the age restrictions and trigger warnings before starting on this comic though, to know what you are going into.

This comic was written by Doug TenNapel and tells the tale of Gareth Hale, who accidentally found himself in the spirit world. Here, he figures out that not only is he in that world, but he also has powers that none of the ghosts have. With these newfound abilities, the evil ruler of Ghostopolis wishes to use them to rule the kingdom for a long time. Luckily, Gareth is capable of finding the ghost of his grandfather, and together they seek out a way to get Gareth home to his own world. Ghosopolis is a comic from 2010, but that does not make it less interesting to read. It is filled with everything you could wish for in a great comic, and it is also a rather good read for a younger audience.
