Another edition, another class! What'll it be this time? Anyway, I'm back and don't forget to keep reading!
And for a little review, I am
Ilan Kim bringing you another edition of
Classy Adventures! If you haven't already guessed due to the title, this blog is about... the different classes taught at the castle! There will be information on these classes, some cool aesthetics, and even a little section where
you get to help fill in the blanks! Anyway, let's look into our class for today which is... Music!
─── ✧ 。.・───
What was Music like many years ago? Was it completely the same? Did people invent new potions as time went on? How did all that work? Well, well, you've come to the right place!
Like Astronomy, Music is one of those classes that is also taught in the muggle world and the curriculum is also probably very similar to what one would learn in modern muggle day music class.
Music was originally an extracurricular class that was available to students who were third year and above. This class was known for teaching some muggle music but also wizarding music. It's most likely that students long ago learned a lot about instruments and practiced playing them a lot. As years went on, music became a class available to all students, starting in their first year. As some say, music is a form of expression and can be helpful if all students have access to taking the course if they choose.
This class is now a deep dive which teaches so much about music, ranging from music history, how to read music, and so much more. Want to hear more about that? Let's hear from Professor Alyxandr Atchinson about Music class!
"Music class covers many different features of the music, including the basics of the music world, as well as instrument maintenance, genre studies and musician studies. We cover wide varieties of studies so if one year doesn't catch your eye, perhaps the next one would. I personally enjoy our seventh year course where we learn about different Muggle musicians and see the variety amongst the different years and genres. Another good year is our sixth year, where you make the music using the items I give you. Always have to finish on fun years after those stressful beginnings." - Alyxandr Atchinson
FUN RIGHT? Don't you want to learn about Music? If so, you should absolutely check out the wonderful class!

Ah, now, shall we enjoy some wonderful aesthetics?
─── ✧ 。.・───
Every new edition, there's going to be a little... adventure! This will consist of a character (note: these characters are NPCs and do not actually exist on site) having an adventure at the featured class of the week! But I'm going to need your help! How? It's up to you to
fill in the blanks. Have you ever heard of mad libs? Well, that's what we're going to be doing. Each week, there will be adjectives, nouns, all those fun stuff for you to fill out in the comments and one person's suggestions will go into the next week's adventure!
And thank you so much to everyone who filled out the mad lib last week! And this week, thank you
Daphne Leung for filling it out and congratulations on being featured. Ready for the adventure?
Music class. It should’ve been easy. But for Akira, it was nothing but enchanted. She could never strum at the right time on the violin or could never read the music probably enough to keep up with the rest of the class. And today they were sight-reading music. What a nightmare. The girl danced at the notes on the staff that she was somehow supposed to understand. Maybe she should have paid more attention in class, Akira thought hopefully. After looking at the music sheet and piano, Akira shook her head. Maybe she could make something up. As her fingers gently touched the keys, there was some sort of new melody. Maybe she didn’t have to do it as everyone else had.
Ah, lovely right? Did you have fun reading about Akira's adventure? Sounds interesting, right?
Would you like a chance to have what you would put in the blanks featured? Well, well, next week's adventure is a surprise but whatever you might comment could definitely change the story a little! So make sure to fill this out in the comments!

Well, well, I hope you've had a wonderful time reading this blog- I've had a great time writing it! Make sure to stay tuned for the next post and next adventure in two weeks!
Thank you for reading and make sure to go do your Mus homework!
