Hello and welcome to the blog! From what I have seen it has been a little while since we have been here but we are bringing it back so start expecting at least one post every week! Now, this post is a surprise for our lovely leaders who you can see up above (Yes my coding is bad, shush XD), these lovely ladies are amazing and put so much work in to make this site run in the wonderful way that it does... So I decided that they need a reminder of who much we appreciate them but if anyone asks, this post wasn't me (just in case I get in trouble)! So to get my point across and everyone else's some of our staff had something to say...
Elsbeth Airehart
IG: Lyra Copeland and Averie Merriweather were 2 of my greatest inspirations when I was a student studying at Hogwarts and are still huge inspirations in my adult life. Lyra was the Headmistress during my time at school and she kept me on the right track when I could have easily drifted to the wrong one. I will always remember her for yelling that no one should run in her castle and when she caught me once in 7th year I was absolutely terrified but that fear I had for her meant that she kept me working hard towards my dreams. Averie was my Head of House. The Head of Ravenclaw and I treated her like I did my own Mother. I always wanted to grow up and be as inspiring and magical (Both literally and figuratively) as her and now look at where I am? I'm the Head of Ravenclaw. Averie was promoted to Headmistress when Lyra got promoted to Minister of Magic so my adult world is run by the 2 women who ran my student world and I would be completely lost without them.
OOC: I don't even know where to start with these 2 and words can't show how appreciative I am of them. I have always felt welcomed by them and I adore them so much as the strong women they are. They are inspirations in my life to keep improving for my on-site job and also in my real life. They truly are 2 fantastic women who I am so proud to be able to work with every day to make WoPUK as wonderful for new students as it was when I first joined the site. Lyra always has some funny story to share and Averie is always entertaining us with her love of certain emojis and pinecones. They really make WoPUK the amazing place it is to be, whether as a student or as a member of staff.

Averie: She's completely mental in all the greatest ways. I love her, even with her weird pinecone fascination
Lyra: Lyra is the best Minister that WoP UK has ever had, and will continue to rule with her fierce but kind heart for years to come
Thalia Gold
Averie: Oh Averie Merriweather?! Oh no, she's definitely the stinkiest person I've ever- just kidding ;) She's the cutest pinecone on the tree *heart*
Lyra: Ah yes, the queen of the ministry! Lyra is as sweet and lovely as a baby owl wearing a knitted strawberry hat but good lord if you sass her you'll lose some fingers...I should know... *waves a 4 fingered hand*
Elaina Bennett
I'll start with our gorgeous Pinecone Queen, Averie. She is one of the most understanding and most lovely people I have met, she is so dedicated to all her staff and students, also her own work. She is very humorous and extremely caring. I'm grateful to be apart of her castle.
Next, up QueenMoM, Lyra is one of the most welcoming people who treats everyone as family, she brings light to every situation and looks after people, making sure that everyone feels included. She is able to diffuse any rough situations and takes everything in her stride.
I love both of these amazing people and each statement applies to both of them. I could not be happier to work for them.

Elfie Keller
Averie is one of the first people who made me feel welcome on the site. I knew her originally as the Head or Ravenclaw and then went on to become Headmistress. Her presence on WoP makes a huge difference to users. She is a true asset that we couldn't do without.
Lyra is one of those people you can't help but look up to. She is friendly and compassionate which are qualities any good Minister should have, and she always does her best for everyone.
Ezeekeil Robinshaw
Lyra really is the loveliest MoM of them all. She takes care of the site and is approachable and always ready to help when anyone needs it. Best MoM ever for sure.
Averie is just an amazing. As a Professor, I couldn't wish for a better boss. She always drops everything for us if she needs to and does more than we think, I think.
Last but not least, we have the words of Vincent Valois about Averie...
I have experienced World Of Potter (and its previous version) under several different Headmasters and Headmistresses; I do not recall ever using the site alongside someone as dedicated to their job as Averie Merriweather. She is capable, fair, empowering, and holds herself to a standard worthy of a leader in such position. If I had to choose a favourite aspect of her style, it would be that she shows care and concern in dealing with both staff and students, always ensuring that our needs are met and we are happy with the site as a whole. Her efforts are admirable and I am truly happy to be part of staff under her management.
Did you make it this far? I hope so, I just wanted to show these lovely ladies how much everyone here loves and appreciate everything they do... if that hasn't accomplished that I don't know what will! I can't wait to show you all the rest of what the SoMe team has planned but for now, this is goodbye... I will be in hiding if needed *heart*
